Blogger Ayaz Shabutdinov, accused of fraud on a particularly large scale, asked the court for mercy in his last statement. This was announced on October 27 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Presnensky courtroom.

"I fully admit my guilt and repent, I ask everyone for forgiveness," Shabutdinov said.

The defendant also says that he sincerely wanted to help his students. According to him, the fall does not happen suddenly, it happens when you start to doubt. The blogger will be sentenced in a particularly large-scale fraud case on October 31.

According to the prosecution, Shabutdinov, along with his accomplices, posted on their social networks "deliberately false information about educational programs that were not really such." With the help of "aggressive marketing and an active advertising campaign," he sold courses, trainings and webinars to clients on behalf of controlled legal entities (in particular, Like Center LLC), "promising high results of subsequent entrepreneurial activity."

Earlier, on October 23, blogger Ayaz Shabutdinov compensated 73 victims of the fraud case. In addition, 40 more victims of fraud have not yet been financially compensated. On the same day, the prosecutor's office requested eight years in prison for Shabutdinov. In addition, the prosecutor requested a fine of 15 million rubles. The state prosecution clarified that the blogger's guilt had been proven in all 113 episodes of the case.

Shabutdinov said at a meeting in the Presnensky District Court of Moscow on May 5 that he fully admits the fraud charges against him. This was an official confirmation of a similar statement made earlier, which Shabutdinov posted on his social networks.

Prior to that, on April 2, his lawyer Kaloy Akhilgov stated that Shabutdinov had completely repented of what he had done and asked for forgiveness from users dissatisfied with his training on his social media page. According to the human rights activist, Coach took this step despite the many proofs of his innocence.

Shabutdinov was detained on November 3, 2023 after complaining about the educational courses he had sold, and he was arrested the next day. The blogger is charged under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud"). In October 2024, Shabutdinov's lawyer informed Izvestia about the end of the investigation into the blogger's case. In April last year, the court seized the coach's property.
