The police stopped drug trafficking and seized 125 kg of marijuana from a resident of the Amur region. This was reported on October 25 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Amur region.

"During the operational search activities, the fact of drug trafficking in the village of Nizhnyaya Poltavka was identified and suppressed," the agency's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that during the search, the police also found items allegedly used for the manufacture or storage of drugs: tiles, cans and precursors. A criminal case was opened on this fact. Work is underway to determine a preventive measure against the suspect.

In the Ryazan region, on October 21, police discovered a cannabis plantation in the forest, grown by a 50-year-old resident of the Moscow region, and seized 69 bushes of the narcotic plant. It was clarified that the criminal planted cannabis in a secluded place, regularly visited the plantation and took care of it. When the plants were ripe, he began harvesting and making marijuana at home.
