Three people were injured in an accident in Arkhangelsk

A Gazelle car hit three people at an unregulated pedestrian crossing on the road to the airport in Arkhangelsk. One victim is in intensive care, two more are hospitalized with injuries. This was announced on October 24 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

"According to preliminary data, at 6:50 a.m. (coincides with Moscow time. On the highway Leading to Arkhangelsk International Airport, the driver of a Gazelle car born in 2005, traveling towards Arkhangelsk, hit three people crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing," the agency's website says.

The report says that one of the victims was hospitalized in the intensive care unit. Two were taken to a medical facility with various injuries.

Traffic police officers are working at the scene. All circumstances of the accident are being established.

On October 24, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 256 road accidents had occurred in the country over the past day, in which 28 people were killed and 295 injured.

The ministry stressed that 23 accidents involving minors were registered on Russian roads over the past day, as a result of which one child was killed and 24 young road users were injured, including seven passengers, two cyclists and two motor transport drivers.
