An 82-millimeter artillery mine was found in a wooded area at the exit from Zheleznovodsk. The dangerous discovery was announced by the mayor of the city, Evgeny Bakulin, in his Telegram on Thursday, October 23.
"Earlier, a complaint was received about the presence of garbage in this area. Our staff went to the site and found a mine," the mayor wrote.
The area where the ammunition was found was cordoned off, writes IA SevastopolMedia. The sappers decided to eliminate the explosive object on the spot.
