About 1.7 thousand hectares have been transferred to peasant farms and agricultural organizations in the Moscow Region since the beginning of 2025. This was announced on Tuesday, October 21, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Property Relations.

Agrarians have leased 49 plots of agricultural land, which are owned by the region, without bidding. All organizations participate in the state support program in the field of agricultural development.

Most of them — 44 plots with a total area of more than 1.6 thousand hectares — were transferred to farms in the municipal districts of Chekhov, Istra, Kolomna, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Stupino, Ramensky and others. The remaining five with an area of almost 40 hectares belong to agricultural enterprises in Serpukhov and Chekhov.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the Luch farm in the Dmitrov district received a plot of 7.3 hectares in the village of Nefedikha. The next few years will be spent on restoring the land, then strawberries will be grown in the fields.
