US President Donald Trump may involve China to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. This assumption was put forward by the Berliner Zeitung (BZ) newspaper.

"Trump needs allies. China may become one of them. If China and the United States joined forces, they could force [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to make peace," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, Trump may allegedly "lure" China to his side by imposing a 100% tariff on imports of goods if China refuses to enter into a settlement of the situation.
