The court arrested the head of the Crimean district of Krasnodar Territory Sergey Lesya.

The court arrested Sergey Les, the head of the Krymsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, until November 29. This was announced on October 12 by the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.

He is accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 33, Part 3 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abuse of official authority").

"It follows from the materials submitted to the court that the accused, being the head of the Krymsky district of Krasnodar Krai, in the period from January to March 2024, ordered a subordinate employee to conclude contracts for the purchase and sale of land plots on preferential terms, without bidding, at a price significantly lower than the market. The court granted the investigation's request, choosing a preventive measure against Les in the form of detention for a period of 1 month and 18 days, i.e. until 11/29/2025," the press service said in a Telegram message.
