A massive road accident occurred on Liteyny Prospekt in St. Petersburg.

An accident involving a Mercedes and about five passenger cars occurred on Liteyny Prospekt in the center of St. Petersburg. This was announced on October 12 by a source of Izvestia.

According to him, the driver of the foreign car, traveling at high speed, could not control himself, as a result of which he hit five cars standing in his lane at once. At the same time, as specified, it was possible to avoid entering the oncoming lane.

Currently, the driver of the Mercedes, whose DVR was seized, is in a traffic police car. An ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident, which, according to eyewitnesses, did not take anyone to a medical facility.
