Ukrainian border guards seized $970,000 from a woman, which she tried to take out of the country to Romania by hiding the currency in her car. This was announced on October 11 by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

"A cache under the hood of a Mercedes and almost $1 million inside. At the Porubnoye checkpoint, border guards found almost $1 million hidden under the hood of a Mercedes," the agency said in a Telegram channel.

The money was seized from the woman, and a criminal case was opened into the incident.
