On October 7, Robert Kalinak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Slovakia, said that the country plans to supply Ukraine with only humanitarian resources as part of the 14th aid package and excludes military assistance.

"We have made it clear that we will no longer provide Ukraine with weapons or similar items, but only non—lethal and, consequently, humanitarian aid," the TASR news agency quoted him as saying.

In addition, Kalinak criticized the opposition and the media close to it, which, according to him, spread false information about the activities of the current Cabinet of Ministers.

Kalinak announced on October 6 that Bratislava intends to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the 14th package of military assistance, which will consist in providing Ukrainian units with engineering support and mine protection technologies.
