Air defense forces destroyed 13 Ukrainian UAVs over Belgorod and Kursk regions

Russian air defense systems shot down 13 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Belgorod and Kursk regions. This was announced on September 11 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In the period from 14:00 Moscow time to 17:30 Moscow time, 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department's Telegram channel said.

They added that one Ukrainian drone was eliminated over the territory of the Kursk region, and 12 over the Belgorod region.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the elimination of 17 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions during the night. It was noted that drones were destroyed over the territories of the Voronezh, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Lipetsk and Tambov regions.
