At least six people have died as a result of floods in Bali, Indonesia. This was reported on September 10 by the Reuters news agency, citing local services.
It is noted that the floods provoked continuous rains on the island. At the same time, four people died as a result of the collapse of two buildings. Two more local residents were killed and 85 were evacuated in the Jimbaran area.
According to the newspaper, access to the island's international airport was limited, as only trucks can move along the roads. It is specified that about 200 rescuers were sent to the scene.
Earlier in the day, a Russian woman vacationing in Bali told Izvestia that houses and villas on the island were flooded after heavy rains. The woman also noted that in other areas of Bali, torrents of water demolish cars and flood houses.
