The Russian contingent from the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces), as part of a joint exercise with the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Collective Security Forces (CSTO) "Interaction-2025", worked out actions to block the area of deployment of illegal armed formations (IAF), their further destruction and the release of hostages from among the civilian population.. It is specified that with the support of the artillery of the CSTO allied countries and their unmanned aircraft, as well as in close cooperation with the military from other countries, Russian paratroopers in armored vehicles occupied the defensive line and stormed the stronghold.
"We came here to work out cooperation with our CSTO allies, share the experience of our special military operation, and work out the moments of interaction between our friendly countries. At the same time, we are performing tasks as part of a combined contingent, that is, our groups operate smoothly, under the same leadership," said the commander of the assault company with the call sign Torch.
It is noted that during the performance of tasks by paratroopers, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) fulfilled their tasks. According to the Ministry of Defense, they worked with quadrocopters with ammunition drops and FPV drones during the exercise.
"We are exchanging experiences with our colleagues in this area. <...> Our task here is to support assault groups, practice air strikes on enemy points, dugouts, machine—gun emplacements, <...> which prevent our assault group from passing, <...> and [practice] enemy equipment," explained the UAV operator with the call sign Zorik.
Earlier, on August 31, it was reported that large-scale military exercises of the CSTO countries had started in Belarus. It was noted that during the exercises, modern methods developed based on the experience of recent conflicts will be used, including the use of unmanned aircraft, robotic systems, electronic warfare and modern IT systems for communications and communications.
