The crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) attacked the control center for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of responsibility of the Yuzhnaya group of forces. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 29.

The ministry clarified that the strike was carried out at the specified coordinates by aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC).

The crew members, having received confirmation from intelligence about the destruction of the target, returned safely to the departure airfield.

On August 27, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the crew of an attack aircraft, flying Su-25 aircraft, eliminated the personnel and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the Vostok group of forces. During the operation, the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces fired missiles in pairs from low altitudes, and after its completion, they performed a maneuver, released heat traps and returned to the departure airfield.
