The Air Defense Forces shot down a drone (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of the Kursk region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 20.

"Air defense systems on duty destroyed one Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type over the territory of the Kursk region," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the drone was neutralized around 12:40 Moscow time.
