The longest coal conveyor in Russia caught fire in the Uglegorsk Municipal District of the Sakhalin Region, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on July 21.

"In the Uglegorsk municipal district, operational services received a message about a fire on the main conveyor near the village of Nikolskoye. The information was received by the 112 system at 08:10 local time," the agency writes in the Telegram channel.
