Iran's attack on the US airbase in Qatar has damaged the geodesic dome. This was reported by the Associated Press (AP) on July 11.

"The Iranian attack on the Qatar airbase, which is key for the US armed forces, probably hit the geodesic dome, which houses equipment used by Americans for secure communications," the publication said.

According to the agency, despite minor damage to the building with the communications dome, according to images taken a few days after the Iranian strike, the dome disappeared, and damage is visible on the neighboring building. It is assumed that the attack on the dome was direct.
