By the end of 2025, all work in the Pskov Church of St. Nicholas with Usokha should be completed in Pskov. This was reported by representatives of the NGO "Revival of cultural heritage sites in the city of Pskov."

Work is currently underway in the church to install the Chetverik cover. The dome drum was restored and plastered, and the damage to the decoration was recreated.

According to the Pskov news feed, the church's drum was decorated with an arcature belt and a traditional geometric ornament of two curbs and a "runner". Pedimented sandriks were installed above the window slits. All the decorative elements on the drum of the main dome were put in order.

The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker from Usokha was built in 1535. It is included in the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List. As part of the restoration, the specialists managed to recreate the volume of the southern limit of the church, which is based on drawings by architect Yuri Spegalsky.

Earlier it was reported that 14 cultural heritage protection zones will appear in Pskov. They were approved by the Regional Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites and the Russian Ministry of Culture. In 2024, the regional authorities focused on resolving issues of regulating urban development activities and developing territorial boundaries. In addition, a project was completed to develop 14 integrated security zones for Pskov. Now they must be approved by the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies.
