Russia has a roll-call list of civilians in Kursk Region held by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and it has been handed over to law-enforcement agencies. Rodion Miroshnik, the Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, told RIA Novosti on September 24.

"There is a roll-call list <...> This list has been transferred to law enforcement agencies and including Tatyana Moskalkova (Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation. - Ed.) It is along this line that pressure should be exerted on the Ukrainian side, because this is a direct violation of the norms of international humanitarian law. It is solved by pressure or by victory on the battlefield," Miroshnik said.

According to him, the list was compiled with the help of data received from relatives. He also emphasized that, for example, in Suja, the Ukrainian military hold in the building from 70 to 120 civilians of the Kursk region.

Earlier, on September 23, during the liberation of Korenevsky district of Kursk region managed to find 268 people, 118 of whom were searched for by relatives. As the governor of the region Alexei Smirnov noted, this is the result of well-coordinated work of all structures involved in ensuring security.

According to him, since the beginning of August, law enforcement agencies have received more than 770 applications from citizens who have lost contact with their relatives and friends. Some such applications are filed by organizations that are looking for several of their employees at once. Each application is received and considered on an individual basis, and active work is under way to search for missing Russians.
