The President emphasized that since this year the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems" has been in effect until 2030.

On the same day, during his trip to St. Petersburg, the head of state visited the drone production enterprise Special Technological Center LLC (STC). The head of state inspected an exhibition of samples of robotic complexes, antenna production shop, as well as samples of UAVs.

In mid-August, weapons and military equipment that have proved themselves in the area of the Special Technology Center were demonstrated to Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at the exposition of the Army-2024 military-technical forum. Among other things, Belousov inspected strike and reconnaissance drones, long-, medium- and short-range air defense equipment and other promising models.
