Team Europe with Russian Daniil Medvedev won the Laver Cup for the fifth time on Sunday, September 22.

The European team defeated the World team 13:11,Sport-Expressreported.

In the deciding match, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz defeated American Taylor Fritz in two sets (6:2, 7:5).

The European team included Alcaraz himself, Russian Medvedev, German Alexander Zverev, Norwegian Kasper Ruud, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.

The tournament was held from September 20 to 22 in Berlin.
