Presidential candidate from the Republican Party Donald Trump ruled out the possibility of running for President of the United States in 2028 in case of losing the elections in November. This was stated by the former president on September 22 in an interview with the news program Full Measure.

"No, I won't. I don't think it's not going to happen. I hope we will succeed (in the elections in November. - Ed.)", - said Trump, answering the question about participation in the presidential race in 2028.

Earlier, on September 20, the New York Post reported that the latest polls showed Trump leading in five of the seven swing states polled - Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Nevada and Pennsylvania - while his Democratic rival Kamala Harris was leading in North Carolina and Michigan.

Prior to that, on September 17, Morning Consult reported that in its poll, Harris was ahead of the former White House chief of staff by 6%. According to the survey, 51% of all respondents support Harris, while 45% support Trump.

The next, 60th presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
