Firefighter killed in LNR due to detonation of an AFU drone's warhead
In the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) due to the detonation of a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a firefighter was killed and two other employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were injured. About it on Sunday, September 22, reports the press service of the agency.
"Today because of the drones caught fire dry vegetation in the Novoaidar municipal district. During extinguishing there was a detonation of the combat part of the UAV. Firefighter Vyacheslav Glazunov received injuries incompatible with life. On the 34th year of his life was cut short by a shell of the AFU", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.
In addition, it is noted that the commander of the department Sergei Rudenko and firefighter Nikolai Kulinchenko were taken to the medical center.
Earlier, on September 11, in Kreminna LNR, a drone of Ukrainian militants attacked a fire station. Vehicles were damaged, the personnel were not injured at that time.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to Ukrainian shelling.
