Two people were killed in an accident with a bus and a car in Volgodonsk district of Rostov region. About it on September 21 reported in the press service of the regional State traffic police.
"At 19:30 on the 167th km of the road "Rostov-on-Don - Volgodonsk" the driver, driving a car VAZ-2114, according to preliminary data, drove into the lane of oncoming traffic and allowed a collision with a passenger minibus Mercedes under the control of the driver born in 1970", - stated in the message of the department.
It is specified that as a result of collision there was a fire of vehicles. At the time of the incident in the minibus was 21 people.
The Department notes that among the dead the driver of the car VAZ-2114 and one passenger of the minibus. Also six passengers were taken to the medical center with injuries of varying degrees. As the agency specifies, the location and status of another passenger of the minibus is currently being established.
On the fact of what happened is being checked. Police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier in the day it was reported that in the Orenburg region a bus carrying 15 children collided with a KamAZ on the highway. As noted, the children were going to the competition from Sorochinsk to Orenburg. The accident occurred while driving, not reaching Novosergievka, the bus collided with a truck. The children were not injured in the accident, the bus driver was hospitalized.
